SINGAPORE, April 25, 2017 – Today, the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) releases its Annual Report 2016, which captures key developments and achievements of the organization in the year 2016.

As part of AMRO’s efforts to develop to an independent, credible, and professional international organization, this first Annual Report underscores AMRO’s contributions in securing the economic and financial stability of the region through conducting macroeconomic surveillance, supporting the implementation of the regional financial arrangement, and providing technical assistance for its members. The report also highlights the enhancement of AMRO’s organizational capacity as well as its partnerships with various stakeholders, including peer international financial institutions, academia, and the private sector.
