Dr. Bandid Nijathaworn

Dr. Bandid Nijathaworn is presently Visiting Professor, Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan, and member of the Council of trustees and the board of directors of Thailand Development Research Institute.

Dr. Bandid is a well-known economist with a long working experience in macroeconomics. He left the Bank of Thailand in November 2010—where he joined in 1990 and held the positions of Deputy Governor for monetary stability and for financial stability since 2004– to work on improving Thailand’s corporate governance and manage the country’s private sector anti-corruption initiative under the capacity of President and CEO of the Thai Institute of Directors.
