Mr. Hiromi OZAWA was appointed Group Head of Budget, Human Resource and Support Service (BHRS) Group in June 2022. The group is responsible for AMRO’s finance function, human resource and talent management function, procurement management, IT function, as well as administrative support.

Prior to joining AMRO, Mr. Ozawa was Budget Examiner for Digital Affairs in the Budget Bureau of the Ministry of Finance, Japan (JMOF). From 2011 to 2012, he served in the Human Resource Office, Secretarial Division, Minister’s Secretariat of JMOF. Over the past 16 years, he held positions at various institutions in Japan, including the JMOF, National Tax Agency, and Cabinet Secretariat.

From 2016 to 2018, he served as the Executive Director of African Development Bank, representing Japan, Argentine, Austria, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia; gaining exposure and valuable experience in an international organization environment.

Mr. Ozawa holds a Master’s degree in Risk Management and Development from the Sciences Po Bordeaux in France and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Kyoto University in Japan.
