Ms. Kana Yoshioka joined AMRO in June 2021. She is a backup Economist covering surveillance work for Japan, Myanmar, and Brunei, mainly from the financial markets and structural perspectives.
Before joining AMRO, Ms. Yoshioka worked for the Bank of Japan as a Director responsible for international coordination. She has also worked for the International Monetary Fund as an Advisor to the Executive Director for Japan.
Ms. Yoshioka holds an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor in Law from The University of Tokyo.
