Sources: MarineTraffic; and AMRO staff estimates.
Note: Users are able to see more detailed statistics for each port by clicking on the bubble. The bubble size represents the 30-day moving average number of vessels. Vessel turnaround time refers to the duration of a vessel’s stay at port and is calculated from its time of arrival to the time of departure. A median daily turnaround time for each vessel type is first estimated and then averaged over 30 days. The data only include vessels with a carrying capacity of more than 2,000 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit), which tend to be the ones used in international trade (see del Rosario and Quách 2021 for further details).
