In this update, AMRO revised downwards the region’s growth for 2022 to 3.3% from the 3.7% forecast in October 2022 due to deteriorating global economic conditions. China’s reopening is expected to bring a timely boost to the region in 2023, with growth projected to strengthen to 4.3%.
