The COVID-19 pandemic has promoted unprecedented policy responses by governments across the ASEAN+3 region in their bid to save lives, protect jobs and support the economy. Today, some economies are starting to chart post-pandemic strategies toward a “new normal”. This paper highlights economic resilience as the cornerstone of policy efforts and decision-making, led by eight principles of 4Cs and 4Rs.
